He can really put words together and I really respect that. Also he might be off his rocker a bit. – thats ok with me.
August Sample

This is a cover. However, it integrates samples and that’s why it qualifies. This is enjoyable. I love the Beastie Boys and Jay-Z: he’s one of the few big rappers doing grown man hip hop.
Facebook Issues

I’m finally getting into Facebook. Funny how much my phone rings off the hook with questions about the internet and computers. I really enjoy tech questions because I think I shine. I seem to have never taken to these social networks very well. Last month, I tried to send a comment about some shows I was doing with TripKnight, as well as the Black Rock City All Stars, when I inadvertently hit reply on a comment from this girl I used to know, that was all about her bad day. Seeing her picture reminded me of a resource I needed, so I emailed her (at least I think I did). Now, in one day I went from occasionally signing on, to amateur facebook cyberstalker tech doofus. She never wrote me back, but that’s ok. I know I’m sharp.
Cooking In Tea
by Adisa on May.12, 2009, under Uncategorized
I have a prediction. Cooking with tea will become a big food trend in the near future. That is correct, you heard it here first. It will be like “pan seared” or “Miso Crust”. Oprah might even have to feed it to her guests, or at least Good Morning America or Regis. They are going to be cooking steak, chicken, ahi, steaming vegetables, even desserts, in tea. I did a search for “cooked in tea” on google and there were about 1500 results. “Pan Seared” had 625,000. I am including a search link on the TripKnight site with this post to monitor the phrase “cooked in tea”
The Avon Chase
by Adisa on Mar.31, 2009, under Uncategorized
Many years ago, I was trying to earn extra money for some music equipment. I decided that I was going to go up and down the streets of Oakland with Avon brochures and sell enough Avon to get what I wanted. Right around dusk, I mis-tossed and hit a flower pot. The pot fell and almost instantly, a man came running out of the house down the stairs after me. The truth is, I ran. No, I did not man up and apologize, as I think I would do now as I am a bit more (hopefully) mature. Just needed to get that off my mind. By the way, you can check out my Avon page at: www.youravon.com/adisamckenzie. I use the web to sell now – it’s safer.
